Convenience stores don't have a problem though. Their business is quite stable and I think the only time they have seen a decline in sales was during the GFC in 2008 or 2009.

You don't go to Costco or even Walmart to pick up a snack, because it will take you at least 15min to get in and out to save perhaps $2 on a snack? This does not make any sense.
