I can't accept your apology because you don't owe me one. Most people get rather animated, at first, when defending stocks which they have a financial interest in and I understand that. It's like drinking a six-pack, or two, of personality and expecting completely rational behavior. Having said that, I definitely think some people get too personal about these issues and that's easily avoidable: make a distinction between the personal comments and those targeted toward companies, products, services, management or other business related issues. Most people know when they are being inappropriately personal and to the extent that we can minimize that it makes for a better online environment.

Almost forgot, know I don't think they can pull out of this. Their products are too weak and they've effectively dynamited the path to retail success with a string of product failures. That's why they are focusing on these so-called OEM deals (read: product give-aways) and hitching rides on free-stuff CDs. They ought to focus more on discovering useful, quality products and spend less time trying to trigger stock rallies -- I am very suspicious about the motives for doing that but I won't even go there.
