Brumar,
I looked up CHAZ - Turns out it was a square block in Seattle that was "occupied" by protestors for about 3 weeks. Compared to the threats to take over Congress and make them make a defeated potus President again, it seems pretty little.
More people died in CHAZ than during the insurrection.

More people injured in CHAZ than the insurrection.

More property damage occurred. More livelihoods destroyed.

And yes, CHAZ lasted several weeks. The January 6th insurrection barely lasted more than several hours.

All-in-all, the BLM protests all across the country claimed more lives and caused much more damage than the January 6th insurrection.

Moreover, BLM led to policies that arguably made our cities much less safer than before. "Defund the police" turned out to be a losing strategy, and Democrats are still struggling to disavow it.

Finally, I argue that BLM helped encourage the January 6th insurrection. Might makes right. Ends justify the means.
