I was thinking about the LA riots after watching a video of what's going on in France

Wharfie, that article is also a bunch of woke bullshit.

There is no way you can overemphasize what happened in Sa-I-Gu (which is Korean for 4-2-9, the date of the Rodney King riots).

Black people were rightly pissed off about the Rodney King verdict.

So what do they do? Do they go after the LAPD police stations?

Do they go after Beverly Hills and other white enclaves?

Do they go after the racist LAPD Chief Darryl Gates?

Nope.

They go after Korean-Americans.

It's one of the biggest injustices ever committed by Black people against Asians.

And yet, almost every mainstream media pundit excused the Black community for unleashing their rage against Koreans.

Yes, there have been many movements to show solidarity between Blacks and Asians in the Los Angeles community.

Yes, there have been many changes to the educational curriculum to teach more "diversity" that includes Asian-American history.

But as long as Koreans (and other Asians) are seen as "white-aligned," and as long as the economic and class disparities continue to exist, there will always be tensions that need to be addressed with real solutions.
