Rod thanks for your post. I sure like the idea of buying IOM stock at lower prices. : ) In fact I have been useing ZIP for a few years. I have never had a problem with my drive or disk's. I have as posted been both long and short on the stock. When I have bought puts on IOM I have posted my reasons as I have when I bought the stock and calls. But I have never said Iomega's products are defective. Iomega makes quality stuff. The stock on the other hand at times is undervalued and at times is overvalued.
Right now it's a no brainer that the stock is undervalued.

I challange anyone to post a true reason why Iomega stock is not undervalued. Go ahead try to come up with a reason why Iomegas PE is to high.

Good luck
Bob

>>This isn't even open for debate, there has never been a less reliable product and it's a well-known fact. Testimonials from investors notwithstanding, defending Zip reliability is a waste of time.<<

Rod -

Perhaps I missed the part where you supported this statement with some sort of factual evidence, or indeed, any evidence whatsoever.

I would like to point out that even Rocky, our resident SuperBear, can't support that viewpoint. His very worst Zip story is one in which one Zip drive would not read a disk he had written some data on. When he hooked up another Zip drive which was, handily enough, attached to a nearby computer, it read the disk without a problem and no data was lost.

<This isn't even open for debate, there has never been a less reliable product and it's a well-known fact.>

Your right it isn't open for debate, just a ridiculous statement from one individual. Unless you can present scientific data which backs up your claim I hardly consider it a "well-known" fact, but just a bunch of crap from someone shooting from the hip. What is a "well-known fact" is that when people make absurd unsubstantiated claims like yours above, they lose all credibility.

BTW, I am not speaking as an investor but as a user and an engineer.
