I'm completely out of Qcom for the first time in two or three years. I was less pleased than others with annual meeting. There seemed to me a certain slipperiness on the part of the CFO concerning Korea.

But that isn't the reason for this post. I've just read in this weeks Economist that FCC is to auction more spectrum on FEb 18th. This is said to be much larger than previous auctions. The companies that win these allocations, and their plans, will have important ramifications for Qcom. Lets hope companies committed to CDMA gain a large allocation, and that those opposed to CDMA are outbid. - AJ
