Haha, no harm intended, I like your posts. Andrews himself is said to have encouraged experimental and alternative uses of his method. For my own use I prefer the classical pivot selection and also the modified Schiff but depending on the ticker or market might vary in timeframe, intraday pivots or closing only, and linear or log scale. About 45 minutes ago, ORCL plunged 7%, broke the Summer low, and has almost round-tripped back to the highs. Possibly the greatest intraday stop run I’ve ever seen in a stock. Anybody hear any back (cover) story? The implication is VERY bullish, based on the concept of market makers having “stolen” roughly a 7 million share position via stop-outs. That 7 million figure is derived on excess daily trading volume today.
