Maybe .... alternate count after thinking about it more ....

I have followed Lucid fairly closely, read all their recent reports. Just no sign of becoming cash flow positive. They got a cash infusion recently, probably enuff to tide them over for another 1.5 yrs or so. But Lucid isn't going that far imo until better news comes out. Big issue next earnings report will be back log, report again ~ 8/2. If it is bad they probably won't mention it.

EV's biggest problem right now in the US is price of crude/gasoline. EV prive war going on in the world's largest EV market, China.

Crude's biggest LT problem is EV's, wind turbines, solar and batt technology. Mainly EV's. Quite a dynamic in play. Will take a few more years to play out for sure.

If it is this one won't make it thru 20. Kind of an interesting chart. If/when Lucid makes it and takes off, it sure could move hard and fast once it clears 30.

Instead of spending money, people are hoarding cash at a record rate. In the first quarter, deposits held by households nationwide grew by 9.9 trillion yuan ($1.4 trillion), up 27% from a year ago, according to data from the central bank last month. That came on the heels of a record $2.6 trillion rise in Chinese household savings last year.

Probably buying gold and silver.
