Exactly.

> Civilians? Only Ukrainian citizens might be affected by their use

Ukraine is going to clear all the unexploded eventually along with mines. They aren't going to use them in areas where there are a lot of their own civilians, most of whom have left the front. They aren't going to jeopardize their relations with supporting countries using them in Russia either.

also troop carriers, and tanks

People criticizing this mean well but don't understand tactics and strategy. The more the Russians are stymied the faster the war's over and the less agony everyone will endure.

I think cluster bombs would work well against entrenched Russians and save Ukrainian lives

I've seen a few different accounts of this, so maybe it's true:

"Kadyrov's Ahmat Battalion has been ambushed near to Bakhmut"

How To Spot Bullshishka: "hOrRiFiC" Cluster Munitions, Part 2

Russia’s Chaotic Meltdown Over American Cluster Bombs Begins (msn.com)

Sergay claims that RuZZia hasn't been using any cluster munitions, but will be "forced" to in response to Ukraine's use of cluster munitions:
“Russia, realizing the threat that such ammunition poses to the civilian population, has refrained and is refraining from using them in a special operation” the minister said on Tuesday. “If the United States supplies cluster munitions to Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces will be forced to use similar weapons against the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a response.
But that's obvious Bullshishka. Not only has RuZZia been using cluster munitions in areas of high civilian populations ...

Ukraine war: Russia used cluster weapons at least 24 times, says UN’s Bachelet | UN News

... but RuZZia has also been using thermobaric bombs extensively, especially in Bakhmut:

Those thermobaric weapons are arguably more horrific than cluster munitions, yet RuZZia uses them indiscriminately.

Meanwhile, Sergay has quite the nerve to claim that RuZZia is holding back in its tactics when they specifically bomb civilian areas with everything from Iskander cruise missiles to Iranian drone swarms:

Does Sergay want to claim that those drone swarms are smart enough to only hit "military targets" and minimize civilian casualties? BULLSHISHKA.
