Hey Gang!

I'm curious: does anyone out there know how KE's presentation went yesterday? Can we expect some upgrades next week? RE: the lawsuit....I'm also a stockholder in ASND and they were hit with a very similar lawsuit when the stock tanked to 23+ 2 months ago, but haven't heard anything else about it now that the stock is back up to 35. If IOM moves up will the lawsuit become moot?

And are there any new takeover rumors?

Edward -

The entire point of my post was that I do not believe the competitors have superior technology.

I believe that Iomega's superior marketing has been widely acknowledged, even by the bears. I was just saying that their technology is at least equal to that of the competition.

Edward,

I agree with you about the compatibility issue but not on the Mac vs Win95... Mac achieved PnP by using expensive propriety components in early years until recent. Also prior System 8 Mac used cooperative multitasking. About reliability, I can tell you that Mac's magic bomb (system crashed) showed up as frequent as Windows 3.1X's UAE when I took computer science few years ago. Fortunately, the only applicaiton required Mac is "Logicwork". Even our Unix system network down occasionally. You may be right that MS stole the WIMP and PnP from Mac, but the same can also apply to Apple for stole GUI from Xerox Star.

BTW, I also agree with you that IOM has great marketing, but recently it is not very productive...
