Bill, What is NATO, a protection alliance against Russia? Some NATO members are allies of Russia. No one in NATO is a formal ally of RuZZia. Orban in Hungary may be a PooTin cuck, but he isn't blocking the admission of Sweden and Finland into the alliance. As for Erdogan in Turkiye, he too is now allowing Sweden and Finland into the alliance. His previous obstructionism was only done to get concessions from those two countries. In any case, Turkiye's relationship with the rest of NATO is "complicated," to say the least. Doesn't mean we should fundamentally restructure NATO or trash it outright. Do all the member nations pay their fair share? Hard to say. What constitutes "their fair share"? Some countries definitely punch above their weight. Sweden and Finland are examples. Some countries like Estonia have contributed a much larger percentage of their military resources to the Ukrainian war effort than America, for what it's worth. Maybe you're thinking of Germany, who may have lagged behind until PooTin's war of choice. Either way, it's really reckless to go around saying that NATO should be abandoned. Most who advocate that are part of the Q Continuum and believe that NATO is nothing more than the military arm of the eViL gLoBaLiStS who want to bring about tHe gReAt rEsEt. Tenchusatsu
