<<The main focus will be on small cap companies with good growth potential down the road. There are about 8 or 10 companies on the board now and in the future there will be dozens more.">>

Ray, I really appreciated your more open approach to questioning me. I invite anyone to share information for adding to valuespec.com. Those links, etc., could be on any company, even companies I don't like. Having those companies on valuespec.com does not mean that I would buy them personally. I will re-word the introduction to make that more clear.

<<Just what is your "focus"??>>

To have a personal web site where I can log the links that I find, etc., on other companies that I research, or find, etc.. I have also expanded it to include the links that others provide, etc. I think it is a shame that after reading a good post or finding a good link that they are often lost. I especially wanted to glean the good information off of the BB's and put it in the appropriate Stock Libraries.

<<Is there a personal crusade or vendeta against someone or some company>>

I have been told from the beginning that I was wrong about almost everything I posted (some things I was wrong about, of course) from the beginning of when I posted. I'm following for various reasons, but I'm also following to make sure it is revealed that my thoughts aren't as off-base as many like, RB, etc., would have it sound. If it seems like I don't like them, it is because I'm constantly being called names by them. That makes it a little hard to be sweet towards them.

In answering your question, I try to be impartial in anything I say, even if I don't like the poster or the company. Aside from not liking the names I'm being called, and not liking being ridiculed, I have no problem with anyone on this thread. I don't like the company at this time for reasons stated before on this thread. There is no other reason. I have no agenda, but to find out who will be right: Me or the Bulls. I'll wait until June 30, 1998, to see if the criticism of my complaints about FTEL was justified. For now,

<<Where do you stand??>>

As I said, I try to be impartial. It seems to me that the same ones who are calling me names, etc., are the ones who produce what I consider fantasies about FTEL, but little facts. I feel a little indignation when I see the "hype", and I've obviously been going out of my way to try to give the "other opinion". Actually, that is similar to what is going on against the FTEL bears, isn't it? Every time a bear posts, someone calls them a name. Instead of arguing with name calling, I'm trying to argue with pertinent questions and re-stating statements, etc., that I've given in the past.

In answering your question directly: I don't like FTEL on a fundamental basis. I doubt they will have the storm of sales many on this thread expect. I doubt that because I don't consider the management's PR releases as materializing in with what I consider the spirit of the release. I don't expect the future to materialize as expected either.

Ultimately, if I am wrong about FTEL and the sales materialize, I will may buy the stock, but usually I end up being right about a company. I might also add that I've traded risky stocks like FTEL in the past and could trade FTEL at anytime in the future. To date, however, I have never traded FTEL.

Ray, I hope this helps.
