Oil is now down to $70-75/barrel, yet gas prices here in California haven't gone down that much. Newsom was supposed to figure out why that was. He was hoping to find evidence of "price gouging." Pretty simple. It's due to his "global warming" carbon tax on top of all the other taxes and regulations. Same in western WA, where gas is well over 5 bucks a gallon. And as usually the case, it's the middle class and poor who are getting fucked. Newsom and Inslee can take their carbon taxes and shove them where the sun doesn't shine. Let the peons drive Teslas..
