Creafers: This was posted to me on the Thread as you all have read: DDrisk, No you said that GSCO was NOT on the sell side when it really WAS. I think a lot of people in the thread would like to know your motivation for doing that. Mind telling us? Or was it an innocent error? This is not meant as a flame. I just think people would find it useful to understand your motivation in doing that. It might help us interpret your future posts. Again, believe me. This is not meant as a flame. Happy Investing! This was posted to me as a private message: Private Message To: DRRISK (who wrote...) From: Vanni Resta Saturday, Feb 14 1998 5:33PM EST DDrisk, I was just wondering. Why did you lie and post the misleading information that GSCO was NOT on the sell side when they really were? Were you: a)trying to affect the market by spreading false information? b)threatened by the fact that someone else has market makers displayed on their screen (worried about being "dethroned" since that is such a big issue for you)? And why are you always so hostile to me? I never did anything to hurt you. You would think someone who purports to have studied so much psychiatry, and presumably has gone through psychoanalysis himself, since that is usually a required part of the training, would be a better adjusted individual. Maybe my original point to you about psychiatrists being the craziest people around was true. Or maybe the treatment does not really work, which is what most people believe. And here is another thing I wonder about. Since most people know that psychiatry does not really work, only the really desperate must go to people like you for help. What the heck is it like to hang out with those types of people all day?! BTW, from what you have learned, how is it useful to interpret the "moneyflow" on a stock during the trading day? Happy Investing! Vanni I am responding to this only because I want to make clear my position on Creaf and Vannity. I believe that Creaf is an incredible company that is about to finally get Street recognition that it so royally deserves. We on this thread have hung in there and are ahead of market sentiment. I still maintain my 18K position in low 20's and have regularly traded the stock as well. I intend to hold my 18K shares until 18 months to benefit from longterm capital gains and trade the stock vigorously until then. Regarding Vanni I have tolerated his antics but now find myself feeling that for one LAST TIME that I will share my feelings regarding his posts which I consider to be very destructive and full of inaccuracies and ommissions. He has now involved me in what I consider to be a implied slur of my reputation and sincerity of posts to this thread. For several posts prior to the run in Creaf Vanni posted that Creaf was dead money and that he felt it would go no where in 98. Then during the run when I correctly posted that GSCO was buying big and that something was up. He on the second day of the run reported that GSCO was on the sell and someone even executed a sale based on that post. He was then very uncomfortable and clarified that the GSCO post was not necessarily accurate and that they may have been head faking their selling to effect price. Which IMHO is exactly what they were doing. Because they continued to buy again robustly into the close scooping up daytrader shares as they took their profits from the run. Not only was GSCO buying but OPCO accumulated a strong position as well. Vanni then trys to impugn my posts when he knows that it is himself who is manipulating on behalf of WHOM I do not know? He then takes no responsibility for his actions and hides behind some pathetic representation of not knowing who GSCO was and then announces that he has Level II and starts posting who is on the BID or Ask. This guy IMHO is a loose canon and his posts should be regarded with real care. I am posting here for the collective info of the thread and value all input but do not like to be slimed any more then the next person. I have never posted inaccurately and have made every attempt to use my Level II to your advantage and mine. I post what I see and there are limitations to the data which we discuss on Level II trading thread. I certainly do not want anyone to make investment decisions based on my posts. We all due dili in our own way but this guy Vanni is IMHO dangerous. He in using his information to disrupt the thread, nothing could be clearer. Finally my post on the GSCO buying showed the true strength of the thread as it was ferreted out what GSCO was doing and why. This was a very powerful demonstartion of the true power of this thread and all our collective contacts and resources. Street traders do not like this type of power and clearly they are among us trying to disrupt. That is a fact. I am not the enemy. I have proven that IMHO. DrRisk stating the facts as I see them
