My Chicken of Dear lack, (oh, I hope I got that right! There was nothing on the net about chicken etiquette, though I did find some wonderful recipes for this week's menus) I'm so glad that you were able to move beyond our little misunderstanding and return to tell us about your lovely home on Chickletori. I'm sure it is a delightful and picturesque place-I am envisioning the sun, if you have one, glinting off the silver mesh wire of your planet at dawn, when the first roosters, their white feathers glistening rosy pink as they strut into the yard, drink from the clear, bubbling fountains, and do their morning rooster thing before feeding their mammals. It sounds idyllic. If I'm not being too forward, are you here on diplomatic assignment? Or perhaps an exchange program at a university? Or merely a personal vacation? Regardless of the reason, we are delighted to have you and we offer what hospitality we have. And may I add that your grasp of our language is most---impressive!
