Wharfie, I took a look at the very first law that appeared on the ACLU web site:

I think it's a reasonable law:
This bill would require all public two-year and four-year institutions of higher education to prohibit biological males from participating on an athletic team or sport designated for females and prohibit biological females from participating on an athletic team or sport designated for males.
It protects fairness, especially in women's sports. It protects safety. It keeps male pervs from "identifying as women," joining women's leagues, and changing in the same locker rooms as their biological female teammates.

But you want to draw an analogy between this law and the prohibition of interracial marriages?
