David,

Good to hear from you...I mean that. Please explain a couple of things about your last post ( do not take my tone personally, I am direct -if you haven't noticed- it is just the way I am)

You stated:

>>>It should be apparent that UTS, SOLV and COAK have still not laid all of their cards on the table.<<<

The only thing that is apparent is that UTS made a press release. If Solv is going to sell anything to them, or SOLV is going to receive royalties from them; or SOLV is going to partner up with KOCH and UTS, why would SOLV allow UTS to make such an irresponsible press release. Moreover, if KOCH has a first right of refusal, how could UTS jump to the conclusion that it was "OK" with both SOLV and KOCH to issue such a statement...I mean, why hurry a statement, particularly one that might piss off a "future partner" and their shareholders.

This is the kind of press release designed to give UTS shareholders a Woody because the company makes a "kill"...is it not? It's vague, it's bold and it smacks of Corporate "high fivin'".

As Troy pointed out in his post #5373, we apparently don't know what 12% means. Working interest? participatory interest? royalty interest? waning interest?.... But maybe these definitions don't matter. From this press release, Solv is selling "whatever interest" to UTS. MY QUESTION, then, is given the sale of "whatever interest" how can there be a joint partnership between Koch, SOLV and UTS. UTS just took SOLV out for 10 Mil. Partnerships only happen when the partners each bring something to the table. What is SOLV bringing, now?

>>>I speak with Cam Deacon of UTS regularly and although he NEVER shares any information that isn't already public he maintains that everything is going very well <<<

In you regular conversations with "Cam" did you know he was going to make a play for SOLV's "whatever interest"? If he didn't tell you about his plans to buy SOLV out, do you feel that the information shared by you guys is to his advantage and he is playing you too?

Going back to an observation that Troy made

>>>...all that SOLV may have had left was a working interest of some kind. Additionally, the use of the term "working interest" may leave some room open for a remaining royalty interest of some kind.<<<

UTS has no working knowledge of the oilsands biz (I could be wrong here, Nicholas probably knows). If I am correct, would it not make more sense were SOLV to make the same offer to UTS, and end up with a 22% "whatever interest". The stock sure would have reacted differently. (yes, I know that SOLV is "reorganizing" but it is only ten mil)

Finally, David, my concern is wholly centered around whether the "NEWCO" you speak of has anything left to offer, sell or produce...other that alot of heart.

regards,
