Antitrust Dilemma: Smokestack Doctrine, Digital Age nytimes.com To the digitally fluent of Silicon Valley, the heartland of America's high-tech economy, the government's antitrust battle with Microsoft has become known, half-jokingly, as "our O.J. trial" -- a high-profile, high-stakes case whose outcome will surely be divisive, whether for or against Microsoft. Hey, I thought it was my O.J. trial. Who are all these other guys? Once again, my leadership status is greatly exaggerated. This is a middle of the road, both sides story, and I couldn't detect any of the usual subtle Times irony in it, make of it what you will. Cheers, Dan.
