Jim, when do you predict PPP will be broken up ? This been talked about for years, I had heard it would be broken up last summer as well. Do you think that maybe the Summit & Visx actually crafted a partnership (PPP) that will hold up ? You know quite a bit of legal effort went into establishing it. What kind a message would the FTC be sending by not allowing innovative companies from profiting or at least to recover their research and development costs ? Also, Summit could possibly buy Sunrise or Autonomus by year end and from what I've heard Autonomus hasn't been overly impressive overseas as compared to existing Summit & Visx machines.

I'm totally awed Mr. Mac on how you have it all figured out and all of it detrimental towards Summit Technology. Damn it must be something to play "GOD" Do you have any idea how many different scenarios can arise by 1999 for all excimer laser companies. Why make such a goofy prediction. Besides, this prediction goes against all your predictions with No-Touch.
