"You're not supposed to do something about 'hate.'" That's news to me. -- "anything beyond that goes against the ideals of free speech." The ideals of free speech include using the police to keep motorcycle gangs from rampaging thru the town square.

There is no "supposed to" in corporate business. Corporate boards have a fiduciary duty to maximize profits "within the laws of the land." To do other is malfeasance and a board member or CEO can be removed for not working for stockholders. That includes PR... so you are not going to find many corporations that are anti-Asian or anti-Black or even anti-LGBT because its BAD for business. However they could be anti-Asian or anti-Black or even anti-LGBT if it could be shown to be GOOD for business. Its not illegal to be a bigot. Its not even illegal to be a Communist though some fools think so. Opinions are not illegal. Bullshit is perfectly legal... that's what advertising is. Lying.
