Brumar,
The war is going so well for Russia, they want to widen it. Losing to Ukraine, they need more countries to fight.
They want to expand the war BECAUSE they're losing to Ukraine.

They realize that the war is unwinnable because of NATO support.

Hence they talk about invading NATO countries like they're discussing where to have dinner.

And the RuZZian public is all like, "Meh ..."
