I didn't remark on any study. I just reported how frequent legacy admissions are.
That was also mentioned in the article that you linked.

The study showed that only 6% of all applicants held ANY legacy status.

That includes both "primary legacy," where the applicant's parent attended the school, and "secondary legacy," where a sibling or an extended family member attended.

And the 45% "advantage" only applies to primary legacies. For secondary legacies, that "advantage" shrinks to just 14%.

It just confirms my belief that legacy admissions are overrated, especially by those who want to obfuscate the injustice of affirmative action.
