Jason,

The article is about i740... and it remind us that NINE is also a OEM customer of SIII.

"Instead of selling the 740 directly to PC makers as it does with microprocessors, Intel will sell to independent hardware vendors such as Assustek Inc., Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. and Number Nine Visual Technology Corp. Those buyers might add value through software, then sell the chip to PC makers."

IMO, NINE is definitely mis-managed in the pass two years, the only reason for me to play NINE is speculation. I previously predicted a failure to rebound at $2 would pull back NINE to $1.25 to $1.50 but now it proved that my estimate is too high :o( Now I am hoping some management change or restructure for sign of turn-around. STB may hints some successful track for NINE for the future but who knows what will happen next. Anyway I don't really care since I only have 1k shares. I am pretty sure that we won't see much downside from a buck.
Good Luck
