Charles you seemed very well informed. What is your background and how do you seem to know so much about the industry and Number Nine. Do you think S3 can recover?

Chuck, are you saying that NINE will never be able to do business with Dell or IBM or "insignificant people like NEC, MICRON or sell chips to MACtell or break ground with other OEMs?? . Get off your kick about me "waving my hand " ---- I never professed to know much about Graphics...However, I investigate doggedly a company that appears to be trading at a compelling multiple... Hey pal you win the I know more than you do game when it comes to 8mgs of wram... I never would have come on the net , this post if I new as much about the inner workings as you seem too. BUT C.R don't discount me as total ignorance ... price points ( 30 bucks to be exact ) are being addressed at NINE and you must know that if you are so informed. What advise would you give them going forward?? AND AGAIN MR. River please tell this thread more about YOU and why YOU know so much about NINE....If you must know my friend ... I coach a very successful basketball team in New England ...And I will stick to that as opposed to pretending that I know much about a poor little company from Lexington which you are now the last minute expert of. Don't feel too bad for me Chuckie boy I own a few shares of TDDDF and neomagic and even STBI, to go along with NINE. Oh, Chuck what ever made the stock go up to 24 bucks, was that BAD management as well? Or someone else waving their hand.? Get it straight Chuck when stocks trade at distressed levels all the "smart" investors ( and I recognize your knowledge of this industry} talk about how doomed everything is While some people see BEYOND the past mistakes of a company and are willing to SPECULATE and buy a stock BEFORE it turns around. So when NINE is trading at a market cap of 11million bucks... I don't care how smart you are about price points and failed marketing and Editors choices...NINE becomes compelling! BY the way I'm sure most people on this thread want to thank you for being the Ralph Nader of stock speculating... I'll be careful in the future to not like a stock and be so VOCAL about it like I HAVE... I'm flattered that my posts would cause you to strike out and declare me "the dreaded hand waiver of #9 visual" Do yourself a favor and go back and read ALL the THREADS not just my poor sincere thoughts....Your robin--hood act is needed on a few other "uninformed" souls. Frankly, I wonder if you have the balls to validate your remark about the chip being late ...or how to turn this company around, instead of telling us that STB is going to win all the business from the OEM's FOREVER, we should assume. Let's see how smart you can be and predict where Nine, STB, or DIMD will be at years end 12/98---2/99. Take care Ralph.. And do me a favor ... If I like a stock on another thread and you disagree.... don't wait for it to go to a buck before you show the internet world just how smart you are and how utterly foolish I am.

Much Later ....jason
