As I see it, you get arrested to bring an issue to the attention of the public, in order to change a policy.
Like I said, you get that policy changed by appealing to the public's conscience.

If you don't do that, all you're doing is "bringing attention."

That's why Just Stop Oil is composed of nothing but attention-seekers. They're not appealing to the public's conscience. They're just being incredibly annoying.
