Today's move on Cohu looks like we may have popped out on a break out from a H&S. Previous BO (in late june) failed and resulted in a nice cup and handle.

Today's pop may have the power to continue it's ascent. We have a nice start for a three white soldier run up (coming up out of handle decline).

One thing for sure, it is DO or Die time as price hangs on the upper Keltner band. Big brothers LRCX and LRCX have had nice earnings and both sporting break outs today. Semi Equipment firms could well be the complementary power for SOXL to begin again as a leading sector. Usually a requirement for a wider breadth up move for the broader markets.

Cohu reports earnings on August 3rd - very unusually before the market - they historically report after hours. Last time they reported early, it was held in their German office.

Semi's have been on sleep since February of 2022.

Reshoring should help in building a backlog of new orders. New system orders on top of a solid high margin global footprint is always what drive the semi equip to peak pricing.

Last but not least Les's semi sector numbers may be about to begin another up phase. Last week they had the very bottom low low score amongst ALL sectorsof 20 (on his 10 day % stat).
