Iomega Loses Injunction,
Allowing Nomai In Market

Date: 2/17/98

A federal judge lifted the restraining order keeping
France-based Nomai from selling its lower-priced,
Zip-compatible disks in the U.S. Judge Claudia Wilken
didn't rule on a copyright and patent suit filed by Iomega.
A similar injunction was lifted in December in France.
Iomega had sued Nomai, saying its disks don't work with
the portable high-density drives.
