Thanks for the feedback! I know some of theirs and other makers models have had heating issues depending on the chip and igpu and sometimes lack of fans but also seemed like that was running all out and I don't plan on using any of these for heavy gaming and likely not even much light gaming. If an updated BIOS solved the issue, that's good to know.

Agree about declining RAM and other component prices, some more than others. But it seems like the prices will continue lower at least through year end and maybe into early next as inventory is worked off in a weaker demand period. I've been buying some parts this year as needed and resist the urge to buy more as prices seem to fall farther every month or two. RAM, storage, CPUs, GPUs, etc. It's a nice change compared to a few years ago!
