..stitch and all...yes invest in simple affordable leasure pursuits.. I am amateur in the world of finance although I have practiced as a professional around the world...I am amazed at the information made available on some of the SI threads like this one ..especially the collective references to sources provide by participants...after a little over a year I now better understand the world of finance in the context of my cultural experiences...how greed is greased by the speculative system of so called fiat (trust/iou's) money and derivatives (milking it for every last ounce); the lemming like phenomena of going with the flow towards a free lunch and of not thinking for one's self; gold fever..its in our genome; going with a winner..Buffet and trying to understand why he is a winner?..of Cronyism Capitalism....of how saving face can be an interesting country wide expression of an economic system (Japan in its ninth year of sliding recession); of the culture of letting every one fend for themselves (US SL Crisis) and the one lesson that I have most recently discovered of socializing the debt of the banks and large companies who risked to much and never loose much..if we all continue to learn and share such incredible information by this amazing tool the world can only improve ? We think we are a long way from a feudal society yet in a strange way the new Feudal system appears to me to be embbeded in the Financial system...please excuse my for intervening from center field....
