Wharfie, it's not just about height. Otherwise, Yao Ming (and Manute Bol) would have dominated the NBA. Instead, it's about "leveling the playing field" for people who weren't born with physical privileges. It's also about trying to correct the underrepresentation of Asians in the NBA. I can count on one hand the number of Asian-American basketball players that made it to the NBA. (At least that number is greater than the number of basketball players from my alma mater that made it to the NBA.) Tenchusatsu
