Whatever happened to "No taxation without representation"? Perhaps they were thinking of the Civil War.

How could the Revolution h/b about slavery when the Brit's didn't begin to set their slaves free for many deades - 1833.

the Brits had indentured people accused of crimes who were forced to work for years for someone until they paid their so called debt. Men were pressed, dragged onto ships against their free will, men taken off commercial ships against their free will. The Brits view of freedom was faulty, the rich ruled , the middle class survived the poor suffered
