BTW in an early post I mentioned someone I knew who hiring for my company who went to black churches on Sundays and let the pastors know what her job was and if they knew some young people who were looking for jobs. Do you find that kind of outreach objectionable? Should she h/b fired?
I see nothing wrong with companies going around giving jobs to disadvantaged youth. In fact, I find it quite admirable.

This isn't the same thing as affirmative action, though. It's an outreach program, not a competition. It's not like there are 20 applicants for every open position.
