Vic, and others with vision,I've been listening to music this weekend. So what! you may think, but what I have found is a 27 year old song, a prophetic musical rendition of a future I believe will happen real soon. Those with no vision will not understand this, it's best they skip to the next post. This is what I visualize as I listen to this song: The location is a train station (English, early 1900s) The song starts out with light keyboard notes, almost random, not making much sense. I see the town fool on the tracks in front of a massive steel behemoth, the random notes are him making fun of the folks getting on the train."this train ain't going nowhere, blah, blah, blah" He is dancing around poking fun at the engine, the train and passengers, very sure of himself at this point. The music changes, the guitar plays a warning that a major event is about to take place! The deep base kicks in with a heavy drum beat. You can feel the rumble! The awesome Power, the ground begins to shake as the six massive drive wheels start to turn! The beast starts to stir. "Joe" the town fool, has no idea he is about to suffer a severe emotional experience! You see old Charlie threw the throttle all the way forward, removed, and hid the handle! This train is now out of control,! full speed ahead! Lets listen as the CT EXPRESS races down the track! Locomotive Breath In the Shuffling madess of the locomotive breath, ~~ (Joe the all time loser with his runs the all time loser, ~~~~ shuffling madness) headlong to his death. He feels the piston scraping ~(this is Joe beginning to realize steam breaking on his brow ~~~ the power this thing has) old Charlie stole the handle and the train won't stop going no way to slow down. He sees his children jumping off at stations one by one. ~~~ Joes followers jumping off His woman and his best friend in bed and having fun. Crawling down the corridor ~~~ Joe is looking for the handle on his hands and knees ~~~ to stop this out of control train old Charlie stole the handle and the train won't stop going no way to slow down. He hears the silence howling catches angels as they fall~Joe has time to reflect on his life And the all time winner has got him by the balls. ~~~ who could this be? He picks up Gideons Bible open at page one ~~~ too late now Joe! old Charlie stole the handle and the train it won't stop going no way to slow down. ..........no way to slow it down no WAY to slow it down.....No way to slow it down... no....IT won't slow down Jethro Tull 1971 Ian Anderson "Aqualung" Jennie Anderson These passengers are getting the ride of their life! June 30 when the train coasts into the station at the other end, The passengers will have forgotten "poor Joe" mangled by the Iron Beast!...not even a speck remains.... .....BooaarrrrDDDDDD!!!.......
