I went back and read that post of mine from 8/7/2022. I did not see where I was making fun of anyone. I was just stating the way I saw things at the time and I don't see anything there I would change. I think the post contained a lot of great advice for those who were bullish. At the time we were at about 4130 and went to 4325 before dropping to 3491 soon after. If I remember right I was looking for a 4350 top.
Yes, as it turned out they were eventually right. After the big decline to 3491 we went into a retrace of wave [1]. The retrace went much higher than normal so I did not expect it.
I expect the normal or highest odds result to take place. It doesn't always but it does most of the time.

I guess I am missing the point of your whole post.

If that is how you determine whether we are in a bull or bear market that is fine with me. I guess it makes a difference to you, which is fine.
I see this wave [2] as a counter trend bear market rally. I don't believe the correction from 4818 is anywhere near over so I chose not to call this bear market rally a bull market. But that may just be me and I may be technically wrong. So, whatever?
