Mt--

A lot depends on this battle in the Senate as well as the decision by Judge Anderson. If the filibuster prevails it will certainly be a defeat for the anti-VGM folks.

I understand in Judge Anderson's case that he has three choices. 1. He could rule that all the machines are illegal as per the definition of a lottery in the State Constitution. 2. He could rule that none of the machines are illegal. or 3. He could rule that certain machines do require some skill( poker and blackjack) and allow those and ban the others. This ruling and sending it to the Supreme Court seems more important than the legislative results since the courts will be dealing with the Constitutionality issue. I notice in the Charleston paper a couple of days ago that they recommended that the legislature hold off on any actions until this case is decided.

I will probably miss the live version of the conference call myself. I would love to listen and ask a question or two if one came up. I can present quetions ahead of time, but the tough question is the one that occurs to you as you are listening. I believe most of our questions will be answered and that is good. I will attempt to listen to the reply Tues night, but might not get to it till later in the week. In any event, I am sure we will read the high-lights on the thread. Those of you who do listen please pay very close attention to the number of halls and the income numbers. They are critical in doing any type of projecting and right now we just don't know enough to narrow the projected ranges down to something a bit more accurate.

Thanks,

Scott
