One possibility is MXL knows SIMO's Q2 results are going to be a disaster, and that's their reason for cancelling the deal
Would they not wait to see those earnings (especially if they are a disaster) to terminate their deal based on ' a significant change' in their business? Either way, too many speculators, so I see more selling. Will be picking up shares every 5% lower.

Like Buffet says,"Whether we're talking about stocks or socks, I like buying quality merchandise when it is marked down." . . By buying quality companies at a discount, investors can increase their chances of making a profit over the long term.

I wonder if there are some Hedge Funds trading their book;
