Good post Wayne! Your getting better! However I have a problem with "feel". If it feels right....Do It! NOT! With some things I could agree with that, but with stocks, no way! Emotion should have nothing to do with it! IMO When emotion gets in the way your decisions will not be based on fundementals, TA or such like which are standard investing practices. Reasearch needs little 'feeling'. When talking to someone via telephone or in person, I would say then you would want to try to get a feel of what they are saying, so you can determine wheater they are truthful and sincere. Also, you would pay close attention to their tone and facial expressions to get the 'feel' of what they are saying. In other words, you may have to read between the lines! Clean Shell? How much is it worth? Good question! What assets is owned by the 'shell'? Good Will? Tanagible? Ect.? This answer would take half a book! I will be willing to discuss this with you.
