For a very thorough and hostile evaluation of the IMF see the following: nationalreview.com I am going back out looking for pro-IMF arguments, since I do not really understand anything about its operations. In general, though, it looks to be a continuation of the debates over foreign aid and support for the UN.

OK: Here is the IMF point of view on recent actions in Asia: imf.org The same site (www.imf.org) has many subsections with numerous papers, articles, explanations, etc. of the operations of the IMF.
