With the run up Apple stock took the past couple of months, I am thinking the company may need to prove that growth will happen again for further share price appreciation. But, growth at Apple sometimes jumps all into a couple of quarters and then flattens again, which is the danger of being out of the stock when that happens. And then they don't get the full credit for the long term growth.

So I am not surprised that the share price went down on Friday. We will have to see whether this is a short term or long term trend in the share price. There are some stimuli for the share price. New iPhones, services growth but the big question mark is the AVP. There was at least one comment on it that caught my ears when Cook said it was shipping demo units to developers. That is a big deal but partly depends on the interest there. With Apple's history, I wouldn't want to be caught out of the stock, but then my cost basis is so low right now that I have the luxury of just waiting and watching.
