No. Apache is an established 2nd tier independent that has been a rising star.

The jest of the article posted was to inform that all isn't as rosy in the patch as some had hoped. I have stated prior that if oil, nat/gas prices stay below $18 pboe, then capital budgets would change to reflect that decrease. This is a warning salvo that they (oil companies in general) will do just that.

How does that effect AIPN? Well, they had a oppurtunity to sell part of this lease and held out or whatever. Their position isn't as strong as it was say 6 months ago.
