Hi Cheif,

I think Bob was just doing a copy and paste of some of the material from the Farmers' Almanac. The idea of marking your calendar just happened to be there with the expectation that the reader would see their write-up before the full moon.

Celestial Mechanics is an interesting subject. It is a science which is almost a pure application of of mathematics. It is the subject that caused Newton to invent the Calculus. When Newton originally delayed publishing his work in Calculus, another person was given credit for that invention but it was later proven that Newton was first to come up with the principles and methods of Calculus.
