>>>Now MU may tank on Tuesday, but over and over again I ask
myself....why does MU keep going up?, why does MU keep going up?
I really do not know why ! On the surface things do look bad for
MU, but I realize I am not the holder of "great FA insight" like
some on this Micron BB, so I keep asking and asking the same question
that I asked my self back when MU went above 27 1/2 on Jan 2, 1998.
Why is MU going up, if things on the surface look so bad for MU ?<<<

Larry, That is undoubtably the question that is on everybodys mind and I'm sure all involved ponder this question. It doesn't take great intelligence or superior intuition or "great insight" to see that things do look really bad for mu. Why does anything defy logic? Why did the market run up on speculation greed and hot air in the 20s? Why did the nikkei run straight up ignoring real valuation before it crashed?(I'm not suggesting we are going to have a market crash). In mus case is it manipulation by large firms with big money? Is it greed? Is it because $ keeps pouring into market looking for a place to go? Is it because of hype wishfull thinking and alot of hot air? Is because many believe or have been led to believe that mu will be one of the few left standing after this cycle, benefiting by great earnings with analyst upgrading and revising estimates up far beyond what is presently stated? I don't know the answer either, probably a combination of many variables. The trend is up that is all we know for sure other then the psychology can quickly reverse it self at any moment and probably will. RR

>>why does MU keep going up?<<

there is a reality and 28 year old fund manager expectation disconnect.

>>But unlike you, I put my opinion second to MU's price movement.<<

larry, no doubt this works better in some instances - probably most of the time on a time basis. however, you missed 17 points of downside the last time before turning bearish and you'll probably lose a lot of downside from $35 before turning bearish. you'll be bearish at $21, right?
