Hi Jim

I feel that Raptor at the moment is a very speculative play right now even more so that STF and BEA.Remember these penny stocks thrive on heresay and rumors as you well know.

With regards to an infrastructure I understand one is indeed close by and from my understanding the oil companies are in negotiations with the owner for usage of that particular gas plant.

regards
joe sax

Hi Jim, Here's a little info about the infrastructure in and around the Turner Valley Area.

This is taken from a BEA news release. The relevant bit is in the last few sentences.

Cheers

Dave

Mr John McLeod reviews the company

The main thrust of the company's exploration endeavours during the past year ending November 30 1996, has been on the deep Regional Turner Valley oil prospect, 15-20 miles southwest of Calgary. This prospect is indicated to contain bypassed Regional Mississippian Turner Valley oil. The prospect was brought to the company's attention in 1986 and it was not until June of 1993 that a sufficient number of oil and gas leases were finally secured by which to justify the
commencement of the first stage five well exploratory drilling program. This wildcat drilling phase commenced in October 1993, and testing of the fifth and last well drilled, was completed in March of 1995. The first well discovered a major Devonian Crossfield sour gas pool at a depth of 12,000 feet with indicated recoverable gas reserves of 250 billion cubic feet, over a minimum of 3,200 acres.
This structure, is interpreted to be 5,760 acres in areal extent and is covered to a large degree by the company's current oil and gas lease holdings. The completion of a minimum two more wells into this reservoir is necessary prior to the commencement of production. To effect commercial production, a 22 mile sour gas transmission pipeline east to the nearest plant currently capable of processing it, may be necessary. Another option is the very distinct possibility of an existing gas plant in the Turner Valley area being upgraded to handle the processing of this gas....

Jim, If this play is what we hope the infrastructure issue will take care of itself. Imperial and Berkley being on board make the question moot.

Its kind of like the Field of Dreams " Find it and the pipes will come".

Jim P - <<I have also been watching Raptor. The question is are they worth .65 because of their holdings in the Turner Valley area. I know they have other interests but don't know much about them.>>

You can check them out at their website raptap.com. They are producing around 640 BOPDE and the EPS is about 15 cents. Depending on what multiple you want to use, RCP could be trading between .75 and .90 with no provision for Turner Valley.
