Doren, You don't seem to understand the culture of hard science like this. I understand it. What I don't understand is how you think everyone involved in climate research are all altruists who don't care about the money. I have news for you. They DO care about the money. They DO care about the funding. They DO care about getting published, being hosted at conferences, getting air time on mainstream media with politicians and celebrities, and flying out to international summits in order to meet with their counterparts across the pond. It may not be strictly about the money, but make no mistake. They want to be *significant*. And they have a better chance of being significant by parroting the climate change "consensus" than by going against it. Tenchusatsu
