Pete,

I have read many of them - I've been a lurker here for many, many months. Just never had anything to say before. I understand the fears, and I agree they're possibly accurate. I don't understand why a paying subscriber would do that, but it wouldn't surprise me to find some would. Fax transmittal would satisfy me, as well as assuage copying fears, but that's not the answer for many.

It saddens me, but I fully believe I will learn of Bob's eventual sell signal on CNBC, days before I receive it in the mail. (Make that "would've received it", since my subscription will have undoubtedly lapsed by then. :( )

Ken

<<As a fellow subscriber to Marketimer, I am strongly opposed to an electronic version of the newsletter which would be instantly cut and pasted all over the internet to nonsubscribers.>>
Why would anyone who pays for a newsletter give it away to everyone on the Internet? Unless,of course, they have already followed Bob's advice and think they can benefit from others buying into what they have already bought.
Why not have a WEB page which is limited by account name and password. It's also possible to disable the "cut" option.
If someone wanted to "plaster" the newsletter all over the Internet now, all they would have to do is scan the newsletter into a digital form and then cut and paste it.
Anyway, I don't subscribe, but I do listen to his show. Basically,I've never made any more money following a newsletter's advice than I've made doing my own research and trading.
