If this argument is correct, at what point do customers badger Intel to cut out the friction of a marketing arm totally?>> Good point. I think CPQ's use of other co's chips will soon weaken that Intel stronghold. Nowadays, people are quite willing to buy cheaper non-Intel PC's, realizing the quality & value of chips from such co's as AMD & Cyrix. Just my Opinion, Bill
