Re: W.P. Carey & Company Llc (WPC) 58.85-5.10(-7.97%) Company plans to spin off it's Office properties; 59 Office buildings into a publicly traded REIT. Transaction to close Nov 2023. Represents 10% of the WPC assets. Seems like selling is overdone. Increased my small position by 30%. Will do another 30% add if stock falls 5% or more. Then will evaluate if I want to go in on size based on a deeper FCF analysis. Their exposure to office properties after this spin off will be small as they plan to keep 87 other buildings in this category.
