"Re:VST notebook Zip Is this product shipping in volume yet? What kind of market acceptance has this product received?"

They have been available at CompUSA Direct for over a month... Not many inquiries on them though.. They don't carry many on hand but they do have them. My thoughts on this is that the consumer has yet to realize that they are out there and available. Most of the reps do not even know they are there. Consumers call all the time trying to buy additional storage space (i.e. hard drives) but rarely ask about an internal zip. Also not clear as to which notebook bays they are compatible with. The confusion needs to be cleared up. Why no advertising on the laptop zip??????? As I understand it, they are compatible with the IBM's, Tosh, and Compaq as well as some Mac's. Which ones I couldn't say. Is it possible that they are not being heavily advertised due to manufacturing constraints??

I claim no technical expertise and though I use my computer more than most average consumers, I am confused.... Was going to buy A Fujitsu 765 until I found out that they don't support the zip.....
