You are right. It is a sales pitch, but the reason they are doing it is to let the underdeveloped nations have the oil. I have discussed this here many times. Was taught in the early 70s they were going to do it for "resource sharing reasons" and would keep everything in place until world wide living standards were equal. A one world government could not survive if there were disparities. And a one world government is the goal.
