mindmeld,

You are not an investor if you limit yourself to a 1-year time horizone.

Trading is an altogether different animal.

Another country heard from. Mind: I can't believe you bought on March 7, we all bought on March 24th at 63-, didn't you get my email message?

But I think you are missing the drift of my post. We are looking for value information. You said, "one" of my funds. How did the rest of your funds do. What is the deferred tax bill? etc, etc The fund to which you are referring, isn't that the one with 60% of its portfollio in AOL? How about your own portfolio? In other words, what is the risk? What is the long term outlook?

My post is speaking to people posting UNRELIABLE information; and then using that UNRELIABLE information to predict future value. Capeesh?

Thanks for your post.

Duke

In March of 97 INTEL was between 130 and 150, so you have to be talking post split, therefore your return was approx 28%[you have double the shares]. Just posting this so you don't get confused...M

But what would your annualized return look like if you had purchased INTC five years ago? ...beats the hell out of any index or fund!

mindmeld. I sent you a post the other day when you complained about your 14% for 1 year in Intel since March 7, 1997. Do you feel better today now that you are over 20% and it is not March 7 yet. gg.
